Our client is an executive recruitment firm based in London with a specialist focus on Investment Banking and Private Equity. The founding partners have over 40 years of combined experience in the executive search industry. The business was established in 2013 and works with clients across London, Europe, and North America.

The Role: Senior / Principal Recruitment Consultant

This role focuses on generating revenue through developing client relationships and independently managing executive search processes. The successful candidate will engage with candidates across global markets, support active mandates, and contribute to business development activities. The role also includes maintaining market intelligence, building candidate pipelines, and expanding mapped client contacts across key regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise at least 4 years of recruitment experience to manage searches independently and contribute as a revenue-generating consultant

  • Source relevant candidates for existing mandates using internal databases and LinkedIn

  • Interview candidates to assess suitability for search assignments

  • Write candidate overviews and prepare shortlist packs

  • Maintain and update the recruitment database and market maps

  • Generate leads and business development opportunities through candidate calls and networking

  • Conduct internet research to identify potential client contacts and draft outreach emails

  • Map North American client contacts and expand the database to support growth in the USA

About You

  • At least 4 years of recruitment experience

  • Previous exposure recruiting for Investment Banks and Private Equity Funds preferred, or experience within other professional services sectors such as Accounting and Finance, Legal, Insurance, or Strategy and Consulting

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience working with recruitment databases and LinkedIn

  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment

  • Availability to work US East Coast hours, with some flexibility possible
