IT Development Specialist (m/w/d)

Development

o Full-stack: Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN ecosystem (MondoDB, Express.js, React and Node.js).

o Code Quality: Set and maintain high standards for code quality through regular code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices based on the infrastructure provided by the Architecture Team.

o Hands-on Development: Writing clean, maintainable code for critical features and solving complex technical bottlenecks.

Projects

o Requirements: Understand requirements to design new software or modify existing systems.

o Testing & Debugging: Testing, troubleshooting, and debugging applications to ensure proper functionality and performance.

o Maintenance & Upgrade: Providing ongoing maintenance, support, and updates to improve functionality, security, and performance.

o Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure & Operations, a part of Development & Projects, to implement solutions.

o Documentation: Create technical documentation, when required, for code, application design, and user guides.

Required:

o 2+ years in Full Stack development.

o Frontend: Experience and knowledge of modern frameworks (mainly React).

o Backend: Strong experience with Node.js and Javascript; expertise in RESTful and APIs.

o Database: Strong knowledge of MondoDB and pipeline constructions.

o Soft Skills: Teamwork spirit, excellent communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to explain technical concepts to others.

o Fluent in German and English

Desirable:

o DevOps: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Hybrid working model: 2 days remote per week.
