About this role
Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human
Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence.
This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.
Okta is looking for a driven and observant Localization Project Coordinator to be a key engine for our team's efficiency and success. While you will manage projects from start to finish, this role is about more than just moving tasks along. We are seeking a curious and proactive individual who is passionate about not only executing localization workflows but actively improving them. You will be at the heart of our operations, with a unique opportunity to identify points of friction, propose meaningful changes, and grow into a process expert.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of localization projects, ensuring on-time delivery while actively identifying opportunities to streamline the process.
- Actively identify, analyze, and troubleshoot recurring issues in our workflows, and collaborate with senior team members to propose and help implement effective solutions.
- Master our Translation Management Systems (TMS), not only to manage projects but to leverage features that can increase efficiency and quality.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders from various departments, ensuring clear communication and a smooth collaboration process.
- Prepare and process a variety of file types for translation, performing meticulous quality checks to ensure our standards are met before every delivery.
- Help build our team's knowledge base by assisting with the creation and maintenance of process documentation, style guides, and glossaries.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organized, analytical mindset. You naturally notice when things are out of place and are driven to understand why.
- A solid understanding of localization workflows and how they adapt for different content requirements.
- Hands-on experience working with Translation Management Systems (TMS).
- Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative spirit, with the ability to articulate problems and suggestions clearly.
- A proactive, curious, and positive attitude. You have a strong desire to learn, a keen sense of when to ask questions, and the confidence to propose changes when you see a better way.
What will make you stand out:
- Exposure to projects across different content types (e.g., Marketing, Legal, Help content, technical documentation).
- A technical aptitude for basic troubleshooting of files, design assets, and content-related issues.
- Experience creating or contributing to process documentation (e.g., flowcharts, how-to guides).
