About this role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investor Relations candidate to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior executives and the Investor Relations leader to support communication and engagement with the investment community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with 2-5 years of relevant experience who is eager to grow their expertise in investor relations, financial analysis, and strategic communications.
We're looking to speak with candidates based in Austin or New York City for our hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key point of contact for Investor Relations, supporting senior executives and IR leadership with clear, professional communication and insights
- Assist in the preparation of earnings reports, investor presentations, press releases, and other IR-related documents
- Conduct financial and market analysis to support strategic narratives and ensure consistent messaging to investors and analysts
- Track and analyze stock performance, market trends, peer group analysis, and shareholder movements to inform IR strategies
- Maintain and update the company’s IR website and investor communication platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders, such as analysts, investors, and financial institutions
- Respond to inquiries from the investment community in coordination with senior leaders, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Support the development and execution of IR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Financial Analysis, or a related function
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience interpreting financial statements and market trends
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Confidence in interfacing with senior leadership and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and poise
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools relevant to financial modeling and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while also driving independent projects
Preferred Traits and Skills
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a high-impact team
- Prior experience in capital markets, financial services, or equity research is a bonus
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements affecting public companies (e.g., SEC reporting) is advantageous
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to immerse yourself in the company’s industry and operations

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
