Physics Instructor

Mercor is seeking a Physics Chart Analysis Expert to evaluate AI model performance on physics problems, produce original problem sets, and write reference solutions. The role requires a PhD in Physics, MS in Physics with 3+ years research or teaching experience, or BS in Physics with 5+ years tutoring, lab work, or applied physics practice. The compensation is $72–$80/hour for 20 hours/week.

Requirements

• PhD in Physics
• MS in Physics with 3+ years research or teaching experience
• BS in Physics with 5+ years tutoring, lab work, or applied physics practice
• Working fluency in at least two of: classical mechanics, E&M, quantum, thermodynamics, optics, experimental methods
• Comfortable interpreting experimental data plots, phase diagrams, spectra, and field diagrams
• Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
