The Role

Our HR team is growing! We’re looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team in London.

In this role you will be the dedicated people partner to our Tech team. You’ll resolve people issues early and fairly, coach managers to lead well and build the career, capability and culture work that helps a fast-growing team perform.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner the CTO and Tech leadership on every people matter, from performance and conflict to restructures and growth

• Handle employee relations and performance cases end to end, resolving them early, fairly and in line with UK employment law

• Build and run a culture and development plan for Tech, covering career pathways, manager capability and team health

• Onboard and support new Tech Directors on the people side of their roles, so they can focus on delivery

• Use people data, from engagement and attrition to time to resolution, to spot issues early and show the impact of what we do

About You

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally supporting engineering, data or product teams in a scale-up

• Confident handling complex employee relations and performance cases, with sound knowledge of UK employment law

• Experience designing and landing career frameworks, manager development or similar programmes

• Comfortable challenging and coaching senior technical leaders, and trusted by the people they lead

• CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified, or equivalent experience

• You thrive when working as part of a team

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Have excellent written and verbal English skills

• Last but not least, you’ll have no ego!
