How the remote job market is moving.
Daily-updated record of the RemNavi audit corpus — listing volume, classifier mix, salary disclosure rate, and per-source / per-category breakdowns. Every figure on this page comes from a deterministic nightly snapshot. Released under CC BY 4.0; no permission needed to cite.

Salary transparency
Salary disclosure rate over time.
The percentage of listings in the audit corpus that publish a salary range. Reconstructed from posted_at for dates before live recording started; the dashed line marks the transition.
Reconstructed values for dates before 2026-04-29 are approximated from `posted_at` timestamps. The salary-from-text parser shipped 2026-04-21, so older dates may underrepresent transparency. Live recording values are deterministic.
Volume
Active listings over time.
Corpus size — every listing the audit currently tracks. The classifier-tightening pass on 2026-04-29 dropped general-ATS listings without explicit remote signal; the visible step-down on that date reflects the cleanup, not market shrinkage.
Classifier mix
Remote vs hybrid share.
Per-listing classification (remote / hybrid) tracked since 2026-04-29. Earlier dates show corpus volume but not work-mode mix — those columns came online with the Hybrid Transparency Score on 2026-04-24.
By source
Listing volume by aggregation source — today.
Per-source breakdown of the corpus. Trusted remote-only boards and general ATS sources both contribute. Apply the auditor's lens: source quality varies, and we score every listing on the same rubric regardless of where it came from.

By role family
Listing volume by category — today.
Top role families in the corpus. Salary-disclosure rates vary widely between categories — Engineering and Marketing typically lead; Customer Success and Finance trail.

Methodology
How the trend data is recorded.
Daily snapshot. Every day at 02:50 CET, after the overnight ingest, a deterministic recorder reads the live corpus and writes one row per metric per date into four append-only tables: daily_metrics, daily_metrics_by_source, daily_metrics_by_category, daily_metrics_by_company. Re-runs on the same date overwrite that day's row — the table only ever holds one row per date.
Reconstructed history. For dates before the recorder began (live recording started 2026-04-29), we reconstruct an approximate snapshot from posted_at timestamps — counting listings active in a 60-day window ending on that date. Reconstructed rows are flagged is_reconstructed=1 and shown in a lighter background on the charts. They cannot include hybrid-classifier data (that schema landed 2026-04-24) or HTS scores.
Step-changes are labelled. When a methodology change shifts a series — for example the 2026-04-29 ingest filter that excluded ambiguous-onsite listings from general ATS sources — we annotate the chart with the date and cause. We do not silently restate prior data.
