Terms of Service

In plain English: RemNavi is a remote job aggregator. We do not host applications or employ candidates — we link you to the employer's own application page. Browsing is free. Companies can pay to feature eligible listings, but paid placement affects visibility only and does not affect the Real Remote Score or our editorial assessment. We try to present accurate remote-job information, but accuracy depends on what each source and employer publishes. By using the site, you agree to the terms below.

1.Who we are

RemNavi is operated by DField Kft., a limited liability company registered in Hungary — registered office 2120 Dunakeszi, Torony köz 5. 1.ajtó; company registration number 13-09-242182 at the Pest Vármegyei Törvényszék Cégbírósága; Hungarian tax number 32876217-2-13; EU VAT number HU32876217. General contact: hello@remnavi.com. Full legal, hosting, and supervisory details are published on our Imprint page. In these Terms, "we", "us", "RemNavi", and "DField" all refer to DField Kft.

"You" refers to anyone who uses the site — whether you're a job seeker browsing listings, a subscriber to our weekly digest, or an advertiser who buys a featured listing.

2.What the service is

RemNavi aggregates publicly available remote job listings from sources including Jobicy, Remote OK, We Work Remotely, Greenhouse, Lever, Remotive, Hacker News "Who's Hiring", and the public career pages of individual companies. We organise listings by skill, role, category, and company; present them under a single destination; and link each listing directly to the employer's own application URL.

Listings may be collected, normalised, categorised, deduplicated, scored, and displayed using a combination of automated systems and editorial review.

We also publish editorial content — skill guides, the Real Remote Score ("RRS") methodology, a salary index, and a market index — based on the aggregated data and our own analysis.

Paid advertisers can buy featured placement of a role (see §6). Paid placement affects visibility only. It does not affect the Real Remote Score, salary classification, editorial tags, source credibility assessment, or any other editorial evaluation. All paid placements are clearly labelled as "featured", "sponsored", or with a similar clear label so that users can distinguish paid placement from editorial selection.

3.Free use of the site

Browsing RemNavi is free and requires no account. You can subscribe to the weekly digest by providing an email address; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every digest or by emailing privacy@remnavi.com.

The site is provided on an "as-is" basis. We make no warranty that every listing is current, that every source is error-free, that every click-through resolves to a working application page, or that the site will be uninterrupted. We do our best to keep the data clean, but aggregation from third-party sources means gaps and latency are inevitable.

4.Job listings and third-party content

Every listing is the work and responsibility of the hiring company that originally published it on its own careers page or a third-party job board. We present a summary, link to the source, and may display our own editorial tags (category, RRS). We do not verify employment terms, compensation, benefits, visa sponsorship, or any other representation made in a source listing.

Third-party listings may change, expire, be withdrawn, redirect, or become unavailable without notice. We may remove, update, suppress, de-index, or annotate listings at any time — including where a source changes its content, access rules, or publication policy.

We are not an employment agent. We do not mediate applications, collect CVs, negotiate offers, or take commissions from hires. Clicking "Apply" takes you to the employer's own site, where their terms govern.

If you believe a listing is inaccurate, expired, misleading, unlawful, or infringes your rights, please use the notice-and-action process described in §9.

5.The Real Remote Score (RRS)

The Real Remote Score is an editorial rating we assign to each listing based on publicly available signals (timezone restrictions, salary transparency, hybrid language, etc.). It is our opinion, not a legal claim, and not a verification of the employer's policies. See our full Real Remote Score methodology.

The RRS is applied uniformly to all listings, paid and unpaid. An advertiser cannot influence their own RRS. If a featured listing scores poorly, we will still display it with that score — the badge reflects our methodology, not what you paid for.

Scores may change over time as source listings are updated, removed, rescored, or reclassified, and as our methodology evolves.

6.Featured listings (advertisers)

Companies can buy a featured listing through our Advertise page. Three tiers are currently offered:

  • Boost — USD 49 for 14 days, pinned on the main /jobs feed.
  • Featured — USD 99 for 30 days, pinned across /jobs, matching category hubs, and matching skill pages, plus inclusion in one weekly digest sent during the active campaign.
  • Spotlight — USD 299 for 30 days, Featured plus hero placement on the company hub, headline slot in four consecutive weekly digests, a co-written editorial blurb, and logo placement on the relevant head-term hub.

Prices exclude VAT where applicable. DField Kft. issues an EU VAT-compliant invoice for each order. EU B2B buyers with a valid VAT ID are charged under the reverse-charge mechanism.

What "pinned" and "featured" mean. "Pinned", "featured", "hero", "headline", or similar placement means enhanced visibility on the relevant RemNavi surface during the paid period, subject to relevance to the user's filters and search, availability, technical constraints, and rotation with other featured listings. It does not guarantee a fixed position, a specific number of impressions, clicks, applications, interviews, hires, or any other business outcome.

Digest inclusion mechanics. Weekly digests are sent on our standard editorial schedule (normally Saturday, see §7). A "weekly digest inclusion" means inclusion in one digest sent during the active campaign period unless the order page states otherwise. A Spotlight "four consecutive digest" placement begins with the next scheduled digest after the order is qualified and published. If a digest is not sent in a given week for operational reasons, we will extend the placement or provide a comparable credit. Digest inclusion is subject to editorial scheduling and cut-off times: advertiser content (listing details, blurb copy, logos, links) must be finalised and received at least 48 hours before a digest's scheduled send time to be eligible for inclusion in that digest; content received later may be rolled into the next eligible digest.

Qualification and content standards. We reserve the right to decline any listing that in our judgement is not genuinely remote, not a real open role, requires candidates to pay fees, misrepresents compensation, is commission-only without clear disclosure, is a franchise or multi-level-marketing opportunity, is not employment or contractor work in substance, is unlawful or discriminatory, or otherwise creates a material risk of misleading candidates. If we decline an order, we refund your payment in full within 14 days.

Delivery. Once payment has cleared and the listing has been qualified, we will pin and feature the role within one business day. "Business day" means a working day in Hungary (Monday to Friday, excluding Hungarian public holidays). For Spotlight orders, the editorial blurb is sent to you for one round of edits before publication; if you do not respond within three business days, we publish the draft as written.

Refunds and credits. If a listing is filled or withdrawn before the window ends, email ads@remnavi.com and we will unfeature it within one business day. No cash refund is issued on unused days; the prorated remainder is credited toward a future featured listing. Credits are calculated on the net service fee excluding VAT, based on full unused days remaining in the placement period. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and expire 12 months after issue. No credit is provided where we remove a listing because the advertiser breached these Terms, misrepresented the role, failed to maintain a working application URL, or failed to notify us promptly that the role was filled or withdrawn.

No guaranteed results. We do not guarantee any candidate volume, candidate quality, number of applications, interviews, offers, hires, or any other business outcome from a featured listing. Where stated on the Advertise page or your order confirmation, we may provide aggregate performance reporting (e.g. listing views, outbound clicks, daily trends). Reporting is informational only and may be affected by bot filtering, browser restrictions, ad blockers, server-log limits, and other technical factors.

Business-purpose confirmation. Featured listings are intended for businesses and professional hiring teams. By ordering a featured listing, you confirm that you are acting for business or professional purposes and not as a consumer, and that you have authority to promote the role and to bind the hiring company to these Terms.

Advertiser content licence. By submitting listing content, company names, logos, trademarks, or other materials to us, you grant DField Kft. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, adapt, publish, and distribute those materials solely to provide, promote, report on, and archive the featured-listing service.

Advertiser representations. By purchasing a featured listing you represent that (a) the role is a real open position for which you are authorised to hire, (b) the content of the listing is accurate and lawful in the jurisdictions where it is advertised, (c) you have permission to use any logos or marks provided to us, (d) any salary or benefit claims are truthful and not misleading, and (e) you will notify us promptly if the role is filled, withdrawn, or materially changed.

What "materially changed" means. A listing is "materially changed" if any of the following changes after the order is placed: the role title or seniority; the primary location, timezone, or remote-work policy; the salary range or compensation structure; the contract type (employee, contractor, full-time, part-time); whether visa sponsorship is available; the hiring entity; or the application URL. Minor edits to the description that do not change these fields are not material.

Removal for other reasons. In addition to removal on advertiser request (see Refunds and credits above) or for breach of these Terms, we may remove, suppress, unfeature, or annotate a featured listing if the source material on the employer's career page changes in a way that makes our copy inaccurate; if a credible third-party notice under §9 indicates the listing may be unlawful, fraudulent, or unsafe for candidates; if continued display would create a material legal or reputational risk for DField Kft.; or if a technical constraint prevents reliable display. Where removal is not caused by the advertiser's breach, we will give reasonable notice where feasible and offer a comparable credit or placement on the same terms as the Refunds and credits clause above.

Anti-abuse rules for advertisers. You will not: use multiple accounts or payment methods to circumvent pricing, campaign limits, removal decisions, or service suspensions; initiate a payment-card chargeback or similar reversal where the featured-listing service has been delivered in accordance with these Terms (please contact ads@remnavi.com first so we can resolve legitimate disputes directly); submit fake, duplicate, or bait-and-switch listings; use our platform to divert candidates to an unrelated role or site; or misuse our logo, RRS badge, or any RemNavi mark to imply endorsement. Breach of these rules may result in removal without credit, suspension of future orders, and recovery of reversed payments plus reasonable costs.

Order of precedence. Where there is a conflict between these Terms, our Advertise page, and a written order confirmation issued for a specific featured-listing order, the written order confirmation governs for matters specific to that order; otherwise these Terms govern.

7.Subscribers to the weekly digest

If you subscribe to the weekly digest, we will send you one email per week (normally on Saturday) summarising new remote roles that match your selected skills. You can change your preferences or unsubscribe at any time via the link in every digest. We do not use digest subscriptions to send unrelated marketing emails unless you separately consent.

8.Acceptable use

Don't use RemNavi to: impersonate another person or company; upload or submit malicious code; interfere with the availability of the service; or publish a featured listing that is unlawful, discriminatory, or misleading.

Automated access and data extraction. You may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, automated scripts, headless browsers, or bulk-export tools to copy, extract, monitor, index, or reproduce RemNavi content or databases, except where expressly permitted by our published open-data terms on the Press page or by written permission. Well-behaved crawlers that respect robots.txt and standard rate limits are permitted for search-engine indexing.

No training use. You may not use RemNavi content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or enrich commercial AI models, large-language-model datasets, or competing job-search databases without written permission from DField Kft.

We may suspend or terminate access, remove listings, or refuse service without notice if you breach these rules.

9.Notice and action (illegal content and listing complaints)

If you believe content on RemNavi is unlawful, infringes your rights, misrepresents a role, is expired or inaccurate, or should not appear on the site, please email hello@remnavi.com with:

  • the RemNavi URL (e.g. remnavi.com/jobs/…);
  • the source URL, if known (e.g. the original job-board or careers page);
  • the reason for the complaint and, where relevant, the legal basis;
  • your name, role, and contact details;
  • a statement that the information you provide is accurate and submitted in good faith.

We may remove, update, suppress, or annotate the listing while we investigate, and may notify the advertiser, employer, or source publisher where appropriate. This process also serves as our notice-and-action mechanism for the purposes of applicable EU online services and intermediary rules.

We may reject, deprioritise, or disregard notices that are incomplete, abusive, repetitive in substance, filed as a competitive tactic, or otherwise submitted in bad faith. Repeated bad-faith notices from the same sender may result in that sender's future notices being handled on a lower priority or declined.

10.Intellectual property

The RemNavi name, logo, editorial content, Real Remote Score methodology, site code, design, and aggregated datasets are the property of DField Kft. and are protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual-property laws. The selection, arrangement, normalisation, scoring, enrichment, categorisation, and compilation of listings form a protected database and/or copyrighted work to the extent permitted by law.

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial job search. Press and research use of our open data is permitted under the terms published on our Press page. Any other commercial use requires written permission.

Source listings remain the property of their original publishers. Logos and company marks displayed on company hubs are used nominatively to identify the employer. The advertiser content licence in §6 applies to materials submitted by paying advertisers.

11.Disclaimers

RemNavi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that: the content is accurate or complete; the site will be uninterrupted or error-free; any defect will be corrected; the service is free of viruses or harmful components; any role listed on the site is actually available, lawful in your jurisdiction, or a good fit for you.

We do not warrant that any salary, compensation, benefits, location, visa-sponsorship, tax, employment-status, or remote-work information shown on the site is complete, current, or applicable to your circumstances. Treat this information as a research and negotiation input, not as a binding representation by the employer or by RemNavi.

Statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Hungarian or EU law are not affected by this section.

12.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DField Kft.'s total aggregate liability to you in connection with the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) fees you have paid to us during that period, or (b) EUR 100.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunities, or damage to reputation — whether arising in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13.Indemnification

If you are an advertiser, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless DField Kft., its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers against any third-party claim, loss, damage, fine, cost, or reasonable legal expense arising from or related to: your listing; your hiring process; your company materials, logos, or marks; your salary or employment representations; your failure to maintain a working application URL; your failure to notify us promptly that the role was filled, withdrawn, or materially changed; or any allegation that your listing is discriminatory, misleading, unlawful, or infringes a third party's rights.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site and, where we hold an email address, by direct notice. Continued use of the site after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

For active paid featured-listing orders, the Terms in effect at the time of order will govern that order unless a change is required by law or is clearly beneficial to the advertiser.

15.Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from use of the site are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

For business users and advertisers acting in a professional capacity, the Hungarian courts with territorial jurisdiction over DField Kft.'s registered seat (2120 Dunakeszi, Pest County) have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute. Consumers may also have mandatory rights to bring claims in their country of residence under applicable consumer protection law, which these Terms do not override.
