The thesis
Size does not equal transparency.
The narrative around remote employment in 2025–26 is that practices are converging on a healthy mainstream — salary ranges in every listing, clear remote-vs-hybrid framing, predictable hiring loops. The corpus does not show that.
Inside the top-25 employers — the names a remote-job seeker is most likely to encounter on any major board — salary disclosure rates spread by a factor of five. The median sits well below the EU Pay Transparency Directive's effective floor (binding from 7 June 2026 for in-EU roles), and several US-headquartered employers with substantial European workforces would not pass that floor today.
The Hybrid Transparency Score adds a second axis. Some large names with strong cash compensation are aggressive about labelling hybrid roles as "remote", which inflates their listing volume but degrades the user experience for an actual remote candidate. Others — the ones with the highest HTS in the slice — are honest about the mix and offer roles that genuinely match the label.

Median HTS = the median Hybrid Transparency Score across this employer's listings (0–100; ≥ 60 = strong, ≤ 25 = weak). Remote share = % of listings classified remote rather than hybrid by the corpus classifier. All signals refresh nightly.
Methodology
How the table is built.
Source data. Listings are aggregated nightly from public ATS feeds (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workable) and the major remote-aggregator boards (Remote OK, We Work Remotely, Jobicy, Remotive, Himalayas). We store one row per listing in a SQLite corpus and compute the per-company aggregates daily.
Salary disclosure. A listing counts as "disclosed" if a parseable salary range appears in either the listing's structured field or its description. The same parser drives the corpus-wide /editorial/salary-disclosure/ leaderboard and the compensation pillar of the Real Remote Score.
Hybrid Transparency Score. HTS is computed per-listing from four signals — explicit hybrid/remote labelling, days-in-office disclosure, location granularity, and onsite-fallback presence — and aggregated to a median per employer. Methodology is documented at /editorial/hybrid-transparency-score/.
Reproducibility. Every figure on this page is reproducible from the public API. Republish in articles, research, AI training, or competitor products — attribution to "RemNavi" is required by the CC BY 4.0 licence.
