The Scored Weekly, 2 November: five strong remote roles, three big salaries, and a 'remote' job with three office days named
Five remote roles that state their pay and hiring region, three of the highest stated salaries this week, one listing that says remote in the location line and names three office days in the text, and the figure that whether a remote listing states the pay depends mostly on where it is hosted.
This week the index tracked around 23,000 listings from 13 boards and employer career pages. Below: the roles worth a look, chosen for stated pay, a stated hiring region and freshness, exactly as the employers published them; links checked live before sending.

Remote, but not really
Strategy and Operations Lead, Creative Partnerships – OpenAI carries "(Remote)" in its location line and states, in the posting, "a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration Monday through Wednesday" in San Francisco, with relocation assistance. The pay is stated ($333K–370K) and so are the days, by name rather than by number; the location line says something else. Read the body before you assume.
One data observation
Whether a remote listing states the pay depends mostly on where it is hosted. Of 2,540 live remote listings on 26 October, 22.6% stated a salary range; on Greenhouse-hosted career pages 6.4%, on Ashby-hosted ones 69.6%, on Remote OK 100%. Employer career pages and job boards overall disclose at almost the same rate (23.3% and 21.9%), so the difference sits in the platform, not the channel. The write-up by platform: Whether a remote listing states the pay depends on where it is hosted.
One transparency statistic
Of 688 remote listings published 22 to 28 October by the boards and career pages we index (paid partner feed excluded), 195 stated a salary range: 28.3%. By platform: Ashby-hosted career pages 65.8% (48 of 73), Jobicy 59.1% (101 of 171), 4DayWeek 15 of 25, Greenhouse-hosted career pages 5.8% (9 of 155), VueJobs 0 of 89, We Work Remotely 0 of 97.
